This design is an example, configured so that one part moves in one direction to release the lock and
raise the paper roll upper case.
The important part of this design is to have the operating part of the platen open lever positioned in
relationship to the center line of the platen axis as shown in the figure below. This makes the
operating part move in the same direction to release the lock and to raise the paper roll upper case.
