3.2 Designing the Case for the Platen Unit

3.2.1 Installing the platen unit

There are two methods for installing the platen unit.

Case A: Method to make clearance both side of the platen unit

Case B: Method to fix the platen unit completely

For case A, by making a specific shape on the case, the platen unit can be moved in the direction of a.

For case B, since the platen unit is fixed to the upper case, it is necessary to make clearance on the
case side.
