4.3.2 Paper Feed Motor Gear Backlash Adjustment

This adjustment is required either when the paper feed motor is replaced or when its mounting position

is shifted.

Step 1:

Remove the printer mechanism (Refer to Section 4.2.5. 1.).

Loosen the two 

 (3 X 6) screws on the paper feed motor.

 rotate the 

 feed motor, and adiust the gear backlash between the

the paper feed transmission gear.

Allowable backlash: 0.10 

 0.05 mm

Step 4: Tighten the screws on the paper feed motor.
