Installing the Options

Note:

The total printer memory is the standard 64 MB plus all installed
DIMM. For example, if you install a 32 MB DIMM, the total printer
memory is 96 MB. However, if you install two 128 MB DIMMs, the
total available printer memory is still indicated as 256 MB though the
installed memory is more than 256 MB.

1. Must sure the printer is off.

2. Open the top cover of the face-down tray with your fingers.

3. Loosen the two retaining screws and remove the plate.

Note:

To avoid losing the retaining screws, do not remove them completely
from the plate.
