Install vent at clearances specified by 

the vent manufacturer.

This unit can be installed on a combustible floor due to the built in pedestal hearth pad (for example 

linoleum, hardwood flooring). If combustible flooring is underneath the unit 6 inches (153 mm) on either 

side and to the front  must be protected by non-combustible material.  If this unit is to be installed onto 

a carpeted surface, a hearth pad must be used for stability.
