Close the city/park water hydrant/valve and
disconnect the fresh water supply hose. In
its place, connect a hose (dedicated solely
for this purpose) between the city water
spigot and the tank flush inlet located next
to the fresh water inlet.
While
the sewage/black water gate valve is
open, open the city water valve to rinse the
tank.
7.
Once rinsing is completed, close the black
water tank gate valve and allow the rinsing
water to continue to flow into the tank until it
is between 4 and 7% full. This will prevent
solids from sticking to the bottom of the
tank.
8.
Turn off the city water valve and disconnect
the sewage/black water rinsing hose.
Reconnect the fresh water hose and open
the city/park water faucet.
9.
Open the waste water/grey water gate
valve.
MANAGING UTILITIES
1.
Close the waste water (grey water) gate valve by pushing it in.
This will keep any black water from back flowing into the grey
water tank.
2.
Open the sewage (black water) gate
valve by pulling it out.
3.
Push the macerator pump switch to the O
N
position
4.
When the sound of the macerator pump changes, the tank has
been emptied. Turn the macerator pump off immediately. Running
the pump with no fluid will cause damage.
