Does the EnPointe wireless system
function any di
ff erently to a wired
(reels) system?
We’ve worked hard to ensure that the
EnPointe system functions in the same
manner as a wired system.
In normal use, the EnPointe system follows
the same timin
g and li g ht decisions of
standard reels in all three weapons. It
adheres to all FIE
g uidelines on wireless
scorin g as outlined in their wireless 2016
test protocol.
Will the EnPointe system encounter
interference? No, the system’s performance should not be
impacted by interference from other
wireless fencin
g systems or wireless
technolo g y, includin g WiFi or Bluetooth
technolo g y.
How durable is the Pocket Box? Will it
break if I fall on it? The Pocket Boxes are made from aluminium
and flexible fibre
g lass. When used correctly,
they are unlikely to break in the process of
normal fencin
g , even if they’re dropped,
fallen or stepped on.
However, we recommend fencers handle
their Pocket Boxes with care, like any tech
device. Dama
g e resultin g from misuse may
void the product warranty.
