Manual Bypass Operation
(Switching from BYPASS to ONLINE)
*Used only when External Manual Bypass switch is installed.
UPS configurations
1.
Verify the UPS is in Manual Bypass Mode.
2.
Confirm that UPS is in Manual Bypass Mode, proceed to switch the External Manual Bypass
Switch to UPS mode. Verify the red light is off
3.
To enter configuration mode, press the button for one second. The first configuration
parameter (Output Volt Setting) will be shown on the LCD display.
4.
Press the button till you see parameter (Manual Bypass).
5.
Press the button to select the parameter.
6.
You will see Manual Bypass is (On).
7.
Press the button to scroll through the options for Manual Bypass till you see option (Off).
8.
Press the button to select the option (Off).
You may be prompted to save the selection, if so press the button to either confirm or save
your selection. Other options are saved and started automatically. See the table below for further
details.
9.
If no buttons are pressed (or user inactivity) for ten seconds, the UPS shall exit the
configuration mode and return to normal mode displaying Line mode.
10.
After switching to Online mode, you will see Online on the LCD display. The UPS is now on
ONLINE mode.
Caution!
The factory default settings do not necessarily have to be changed, although you are free to tailor the
UPS to your specific needs.
