Variant register
The
Variant
register is 1 byte wide and allows selection of the custom radio transmission
modes as described in chapter 3.3. Additionally, it allows reducing the transmission interval
from 20 ms to 10 ms and to increase the bit rate from 1 Mbit to 2 Mbit. The structure of the
Custom Variant register is shown Figure 31 below.

Table 3 below shows the supported custom radio transmission modes that can be selected
using Bit [2:0] of the Custom Variant register.
