Chopping solid foods
The speed regulator (4) must be held in position continuously when set to
P
.
For optimal results when chopping, use the pulse function to process the
food (speed regulator (4) set to
P
). Extended operation chops the food too
finely.
If bits of food (for example, when processing herbs and spices or wet ingredients)
remain stuck to the inside of the container, switch the appliance off and use a flat
mixing spoon or spatula to remove them. Then put these pieces into the container
and chop them with two or three bursts of pulses.
NOTICE!
Possibility of damage to the appliance!
The motor can overheat and get damaged.
Do not overload the blender’s motor by
putting large quantities of frozen ingredients
or extremely hard ingredients (such as nuts)
into the mixing container.
Fill the mixing container with at least 500 ml of
liquid to avoid the appliance overheating.
If the motor begins to run unevenly, switch off
the appliance immediately (speed regulator set
(4)
to
0)
.
Unplug the mains plug and remove some of
the ingredients from the mixing container.
To refill the ingredients, either remove the splash-guard lid (2) completely or simply
remove the filler opening lid (1). After refilling, always close the mixing container (9) with
the splash-guard lid (2).
Once the mixture has been sufficiently chopped, wait until the blades stop moving.
Set the speed regulator (4) to
0
and remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Lift up the mixing container (9) vertically to remove it from the motor block (7).
