The appliance is driven by an electric motor. This can lead to a slight smell du-
ring initial operation. This smell is normal and is not a sign of a malfunctio-
ning appliance. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
Assembling the appliance
Place the non-slip mat on a stable, level work surface.
Place the glass carafe on the non-slip mat.

Place the juice press on the glass carafe.
Place the juice insert on the juice press and ensure that the spout (a) sits in the recess
(b) of the juice press (see illustration).
Place the sieve insert on the juice insert.
Place the small pressing cone on the drive shaft of the juice press.
If necessary, place the large pressing cone onto the small pressing cone and ensure
that the recesses match up with the lugs of the smaller pressing cone.
The appliance is now ready for use.
The appliance can only be used if all parts are correctly positioned and clicked
into place.
