STEAM IRONING
Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank.
Any time you start using the steam boost some lime particles might come out, hence we suggest
not to direct the first steam jets directly on the clothes.
Connect the plug into the socket. Set the ironing temperature by turning the control knob (I)

for use. Press the steam button (H) for 3-5 seconds and keep it pressed (Fig. 9). Before applying
a jet of steam to the article to be ironed, release two or three good jets of steam towards the
floor to stabilise the steam flow.
Warning!
Never direct the steam jet towards people or animals.
The steam jet stops when the button is released. If the steam supply button (H) is operated conti-
nuously for more than 30 seconds, drops of water may come from the steam holes in the plate of
the iron. It is recommended that the button (H) is used for shorter periods.
Filling the boiler during use
Warning!
Always check the water level in the tank during ironing.
If the tank remains without water, you will notice a vibration and a louder noise when you
press the steam button. Turn the control knob on MIN and unplug the appliance from the mains
socket to turn it OFF. Remove the tank. Remove the tank (Fig. 5) and open it directly with fresh
natural tap water (Fig. 6).
Warning!
Fill the tank up to the level marked MAX. Always turn off the power and unplug the po-
wer cord plug from the power outlet before filling the tank with water.
Warning!
The anti-scale cartridge must be replaced every 6-8 months.
