Before use
Warning!
Remove any labels and protections from the soleplate before using the appliance for the
first time.
Place the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. Use the handle (F) for moving the applian-
ce (Fig. 2). After transporting the appliance, put the handle in its housing (Fig. 3). To release and
lift the handle press the button (B) (Fig. 4).
The possible presence of water, condensate or moisture in the tank indicates only that the ap-
pliance has been tested. The product functions with normal tap water.
The anti-scale cartridge purifies water from substances harmful to the iron, therefore it allows
to use ordinary tap water. The anti-scale cartridge must be replaced every 30 tank fillings or
more often if your tap water is very hard. The replacement cartridges are available at the sale
points or in Authorized Service Centers.
Refilling the reservoir
Make sure the steam pipe and the power supply cable are not inserted in their housing
and are completely unwind before removing the tank.
Make sure the iron is unplugged from the supply mains before filling the tank with water.
Press the removal lever (A) and remove the tank (D) (Fig. 5). Open the door filling (E). Fill the tank
up to the level marked MAX (Fig. 6). Close the cover (E) again.
