trap
settings

SNMP.

protocol

attached
devices.
SNMP
allows
messages
(called
protocol
data
units)
to
be
sent
to
various
parts
of
a
network.
Upon
receiving
these
messages,
SNMP
‐
compatible
devices
(called
agents)
return
data
stored
in
their
Management
Information
Bases.
