2.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Enerpac SOH-machine jacks are built from a
steel housing with a single-acting, spring return
cylinder. Powered by an Enerpac power source, the
cylinder plunger moves the toe lift of the machine
jack. The support feet in the bottom of the machine
jack are extensible to provide optimum stability. Refer
to table A for specifications of each machine jack.
The toe lift of the machine jack is adjustable in 3
height positions using the slots in the lifting plate: Lift
the toe lift, pull it out the slots and mount it at the
required height position.
3.0 GENERAL SAFETY ISSUES
Failure to comply with following cautions and warning
could cause equipment damage or personal injury.
WARNING: To avoid personal injury and
possible equipment damage make sure all
hydraulic components withstand the
maximum pressure of 700 bar [10000 psi].
WARNING: DO NOT EXCEED EQUIP-
MENT RATINGS. Never attemp to lift a
load weighing more than the capacity of
the jack. Overloading causes equipment
failure and possible personal injury. The jacks are
designed for a max. pressure of 700 bar [10000 psi].
Do not connect the jack to a pump with a higher
pressure rating.
WARNING: Off-centre loads produce
unnecessary strain on cylinders. Avoid
point loading. Distribute the load evenly
across the entire toe lift surface.
WARNING: Always use a flat, solid and
firm foundation before attempting to lift a
load.
CAUTION: Serious damage to equipment
and personal injury can result, if the
support feet are not fully extended.
