DN (on)
In the ON setting, the day/night mode is deactivated and
the camera automatically switches between day and night
mode depending on the light intensity. If the light intensity
is less than half the video level, the camera switches to
night mode, removes the optic filter (to obtain a higher
video level) and switches to black/white mode.
In night mode, the camera uses realtime black/white
video and also absorbs IR light. When the light becomes
brighter again, the camera automatically changes back to
day mode, replaces the optic filter again and switches to
colour mode.

NOR
The IR operation switch is a very special feature in
comparison with other cameras.
If the IR operation switch is set to NOR (up), the camera
switches from night to day mode and replaces the IR cut
filter if the video level exceeds a value of approximately
70 IRE.
This is the normal state and it is assumed that NO IR light
is used and a video level exceeding 70 IRE is reached with
natural light only.

IR (on)
If the IR operation switch is set to IR (ON), the camera
switches from night to day mode and replaces the IR cut
filter as soon as a video level exceeding 85 IRE is reached.
This is the IR operation and it is assumed that IR lighting
is used and a video level exceeding 85 IRE is reached with
a combination of IR light and natural light.
The purpose of the IR operation switch is to prevent the
camera constantly switching between day and night mode.
