Compensation value 1…4
Enter the compensation value as a
constant value:
In the "Compensation" selection
field, select the "Fixed value" option
and enter the value for the
compensation value. Observe the
calibration range limits → 46
when doing so.
Read the compensation value into
the measuring device via Modbus
TCP:
Select the "Modbus" option in the
"Compensation" selection field.
Modbus register information
→ 39.
Access to the compensation
values is only possible for the
active concentration app.
However, the settings are
kept if the user switches
concentration app.

Options:
• "Disabled": compensation value is
not taken into consideration.
• "Fixed value": the compensation
value entered is taken into
consideration.
• "Modbus": the compensation
value received via Modbus TCP is
taken into consideration.

10.5.3 Setting the concentration offset
Manual offsets are configured for the calculated concentrations via the menus
Select
concentration app
(transmitter with a touch screen) and
Concentration offset
(Viewer).
This allows users to adapt the measuring technology to different process conditions (e.g.
foreign substances/admixtures).
For information on using a concentration offset in a recipe, see the recipe generator
Navigation using transmitter with touch screen
Settings menu → Select concentration app → "Medium settings" → "Concentration 1…3
Offset"
The
Medium settings
function can only be accessed if the concentration app was
activated beforehand with the
Activate application
function.
Navigation using the Viewer
Menu "Teqwave Transmitter" → "Concentration offset" → "Offset"
The operating tool communicates the settings to the transmitter as soon as the

10.5.4 Performing field calibration with a medium
Different conditions when the concentration app is created in the laboratory compared
with real-life process conditions can lead to undesired effects. Measurement accuracy can
