Synchronization terminal
Using the GSD files
The synchronization terminal must be used if the sensor cables of several transmitters are
routed in parallel. As a result of synchronization, a transmitter cannot receive signals
while another transmitter is transmitting signals. This prevents transmission and
reception signals from mutually influencing one another.
Number of transmitters that can be synchronized
• 20 (in the case of FMU90/FMU95)
• 10 (if synchronizing FMU90/FMU95 with FMU86x)
Procedure if synchronizing more than 20 transmitters
• Form groups with a maximum of 20 transmitters.
• For transmitters within a group, the sensor cables can run in parallel.
• The sensor cables of different groups must be separated from one another.
