2. Open the device in the operating tool.
The dashboard (homepage) of the device is displayed:

4. Enter the appropriate value in each parameter or select the appropriate option. These
values are written directly to the device.
5. Click "Next" to go to the next page.
6. Once all the pages have been completed, click "End": the
Commissioning
wizard is
closed.
If the
Commissioning
wizard is cancelled before all the necessary parameters have
been configured, the device may be in an undefined state. In such situations, it is
advisable to reset the device to the factory default settings.

Storing the oscillation frequencies
Two frequencies (uncovered/covered) can be stored in the device so that the current
oscillation frequency can be compared later on to the condition at the time of
commissioning.
The frequencies can only be stored in the respective fork state. For example, if the fork is
covered it is only possible to save the frequency when the fork is covered (
Stored covered
frequency
parameter).
The value is saved via the
Commissioning
wizard or via
Navigation: Application → Sensor → Stored frequency

In the
Simulation
submenu the user can simulate with the options Fork state (uncovered/
covered), Sensor frequency, Current output and Diagnostic event simulation.
