Commissioning with the commissioning wizard
In FieldCare, DeviceCare
, SmartBlue and the display, the
Commissioning
wizard is
available that guides the user through the initial commissioning process.
1. Connect the device with FieldCare or DeviceCare.
2. Open the device in FieldCare or DeviceCare.
The dashboard (homepage) of the device is displayed:
3. In the
Guidance
menu, click the
Commissioning
wizard to launch the wizard.
4. Enter the appropriate value in each parameter or select the appropriate option. These
values are written directly to the device.
5. Click "Next" to go to the next page.
6. Once all the pages have been completed, click "Finish" to close the
Commissioning
wizard.
If you cancel the
Commissioning
wizard before all the necessary parameters have
been entered, the device may be in an undefined state. In such situations, it is
advisable to reset the device to the factory default settings.
