Two different modes!
Our exciting Mystery Switch can be used in two different ways. Turn on the two
multicolored LEDs on the outside to attract the user to reach in to touch the
cloth ball or, if you want the user to explore on his own, leave the two outside
lights off. Once the ball is touched, it automatically turns on lights, vibration,
music, a gentle breeze, and activates any device. Cloth ball can be removed for
cleaning. Size: 6 1/2"H x 10 1/2"W x 10"D. Requires 4AA and 4C Batteries.
Operation:
1.
The Magical Mystery Switch requires 4 AA batteries and 4 C batteries to
operate. Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do
not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they
supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old
and new batteries together or different brands or types together.

Carefully turn over unit to reveal battery compartments. Remove the Phillips
Head screws from the battery compartment covers. Next slide the battery
compartment cover off and insert 4 “AA” batteries into the holder. For the
C batteries the covers will slide to one side, and are not removable. Be
careful to check for Polarity, ma pole to + marking and - pole to -
marking in the battery holder. Replace the covers and screws.

Set the ON/OFF/VOLUME switch to the desired VOLUME level. Press
anywhere on the cloth ball and you will be rewarded with a gentle breeze,
lights and music. Once you release pressure on the ball, the fan, lights and
music will stop.
4.
There is a Flashing Light ON/OFF switch which turns on two bright LED
lights used to attract the user or as a locator for the visually impaired. The
LED lights will flash in multi colors when this switch is turned ON. Please
Note: When finished using the switch turn OFF the Lights and the
ON/OFF/VOLUME control to prevent the batteries from draining. If the
Mystery switch
is not going to be used for a long period of time, e.g. one
month or longer, we recommend removing the batteries during storage to
prevent battery drain or leakage, which can cause damage to the device.

To use the Mystery switch as a switch, attach one end of the double ended
1/8" to 1/8" male cord (included) into the back of the Mystery Switch, via
the 1/8" female jack. Next plug the other end of the cord into your adapted
toy or device. When the cloth ball is pressed the toy or device is activated
simultaneously. Release the ball and your toy/device will turn off.
Troubleshooting:
Problem:
The Mystery switch
does not work.
Action #1:
Check the batteries for proper installation, as noted in operation No.
2.
Action #2:
Check batteries for freshness, if weak or dead replace with new
batteries.
Action #3:
Make sure there is nothing obstructing the fan blades or the cloth
ball.
Action #4:
When used as a switch, make sure all connections between mystery
switch and your Toy/Device are tight. There should be no gaps.
Action #5:
Check your Toy/Device with another switch to rule the Musical Fan
out as the source of the problem.
Care of Unit:
The Magical Mystery switch can be wiped clean with any household multi-
purpose cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non
toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner. The ball can be removed for cleaning.
Do not submerge
the unit, as it will damage the contents and the electrical
components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners,
as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
