OPENING THE UMBRELLA
The following instructions indicate the sequential procedure to follow to open the SHADE PRO umbrella.
1. Remove the lace that holds the umbrella to the SIDE POST (2) in the closed position.
2. Push the SLIDER HANDLE (3) upwards until it locks. During the locking phase it is possible to hear several "clicks"
coming from inside the SIDE POST (2) and at the same time a difficulty in continuing with the upward movement of the
SLIDER HANDLE (3): the "umbrella opening" position has been reached.
WARNING!
NEVER FORCE THE SPLINTS OF THE UMBRELLA IF YOU FEEL RESISTANCE IN THE MOVEMENT OF THE SLIDER HANDLE!
In this case, you need to pull a few splints of the umbrella manually and gently to facilitate opening.

ROTATE THE SHADE PRO UMBRELLA BY 12 POSITIONS
The procedure is as follows:
1. Lift the ROTATION HANDLE (4) (now the umbrella is free to rotate around the UMBRELLA SUPPORT (A)).
2. Turn the umbrella by turning the ROTATING HANDLE (4) clockwise or counterclockwise.
WARNING! The SIDE POST (2) cannot rotate 360
°
in one direction for safety reasons. To reach the missing
positions, turn the umbrella in the opposite direction.
UMBRELLA CLOSURE
The following instructions indicate the sequential procedure to follow to close
the SHADE PRO umbrella.
1. Press the button below the SLIDER HANDLE (3) (you will hear a "click") and
simultaneously push down the SLIDER HANDLE (3).
2. Continue pushing down the SLIDER HANDLE (3) until it reaches the lowest
position and the umbrella has closed.
3. Tie the umbrella with the lace in place.
WARNING! ONLY FOR ART.996:
The presence of tables under the umbrella cover closer than 102 cm from the SIDE POST (2) prevents the umbrella
from closing. In this case, it is necessary to rotate it 180
°
and follow the procedure for closing the umbrella.
Otherwise it is a good idea to arrange the furniture underneath the cover at the distance mentioned above, as
indicated below.
