Appendix A:  HyperTerminal Configuration

 

 
 

HyperTerminal may be found in the Accessories area of the Microsoft Windows 
Operating System (versions 95, 98, 2000, etc.)  HyperTerminal may be used for 
terminal emulation when using remote log-in of the repeater. Use the following steps 
for setting up the communications session. 
 
1.  In the Start menu, open the Programs folder. Go to the Accessories folder in the 

Programs folder. 

2.  Choose Hyper-terminal. In that folder, choose HyperTerminal. 

3.  A dialog box will ask you to name the session. Use any name and select an icon 

from the list.  See Figure A-1.
