LOG PLACEMENT

Attention:

Refer to Page 4 Parts List and Parts View to order logs

for your appropriate model number.
Glowing embers should be dime-sized pieces that are fluffed up

prior to placement onto the burner. A single layer of glowing embers

is sufficient;  do not over-apply.
NOTE: Once the installation is complete with the log set and glowing

embers in place, operate the fireplace to verify flame appearance.

If there are flames directly impinging a log, turn off fireplace, then

remove the glowing ember material directly below where the flame

impingement occurred.  This should eliminate sooting on the log,

and provide a more pleasing flame appearance.
Replacement of glowing embers must be purchased from Empire

Comfort Systems, Inc. Application of excess glowing embers may

adversely affect performance of the heater. WARNING: All previously

applied loose material must be removed prior to reapplication.
