wire stripping length of the cable ends: 6mm

When conductors made of thin wires are used, ferrules may be used in conjunction

The protective ground conductor is to be held long enough, that it is pulled out of the

terminal after the main wire when failure of the strain relief occurs

Only connect conductors on the designated contact points according to the wiring

diagram.

Ensure the connectors make good contact (ferrule insulated conductor ends must be

inserted completely into the terminal, tensile test, particularly with the protective
ground wire.

No “conductor reserves” (chafing, too long stripped individual wires etc.) to be stored

in the controller housing

Verify correct connection of the entire machine afterwards. Faulty connections may

interfere with the operation of the machine or may limit the inherent safety
measures!

In order to meet the requirements of the protective measure IP55:

The outer covers of the conductors (cladding) must be inserted completely into the

cable gland.

The cap nuts of the cable glands must be tightened in the correct way (open ended

spanner)

Non-utilised mouthpieces must be closed of or, if applicable, replaced with insulation

blank-offs

Conductor mouthpieces must be arranged facing downwards or, if applicable,

sideways.

The case cover must be fitted again correctly.

All conductors leading to the controller must be of sufficient length that all electronic parts
can be easily accessed and removed during repairs. When routing or affixing, care must be
taken that the insulation cannot be damaged by sharp edges or burrs nor by components
that may move or become hot.

The connection requirements of local energy suppliers and the additional requirements
related to the erection of  high power voltage systems, in particular those for bathrooms,
must be strictly adhered to (protected area, potential equalisation etc)   Germany DIN VDE
0100-701 (VDE 0100 part 701)
