6. EXTERNAL UNIT INSTALLATION
- Loosen the screws and insert the ends of the cable completely into the
terminal block, after this tighten the screws.

- Pull the cable lightly to make sure that the cables have been insert and
fixed rightly.
- After cables connection never forget to tight them to the cable gland.

- Provide to use a protection sheet for the cables exposed to the outside.
- It is recommended to set the cables with a drip-proof run in order to
avoid possible infiltrations of water in the outdoor unit.
- Combine the electrical connection cable of the two units to the refrigera-
tion piping and wrap with reinforced tape, possibly alluminized (Fig. C).
- If the cable cannot be solid with the piping, make a suitable wall ancho-
rage by means of a cable fastener or hose clips.

- Use a multi-pole cable of type N07RN-F
- For lengths over 15m., use the next higher standard section, always
checking that in every case the voltage drop during operation is lower
than 3% of the supply voltage.
- If a cable is damaged it must be replaced by service personnel or by
qualified personnel.
- All cables must have the certificate of conformity.
