How to insert batteries
1 - Open the battery compartment cover observing the direction
of the arrow.
2 - Insert the batteries observing the right polarities (+/-).
3 - Refit the cover by sliding its back to the desired position

Notes:
Use the 2 LR03 batteries AAA (1,5Volt). Never use used batteries or
rechargeable batteries. Replace the batteries with new ones, same
type, when the display becomes dark.

How to use the remote control and turn on the air conditioner
To use the air conditioner, direct the remote control towards the receiver
of the signal. Press the
ON / OFF button the operation indicator
of the indoor unit lights up. The signal will be picked up at a maximum
distance of 7 meters.

WARNINGS
Note:
If the function iFEEL is working, check that the remote control,
positioned on the support, is successfully communicating with the
indoor unit.
Avoid having obstructions between the remote control and the receiver
on the indoor unit
The remote control should not be:

Allowed to get wet
- Dropped

Exposed to the direct sun light

Exposed to heating sources
Fluorescent lights and cordless phones can upset the operation of the
remote control. If this happens, move closer to the air conditioner.
Sending the signal to the air conditioner automatically, you will hear a
beep and the IR control display will temporarily show the symbol
Attention
In order to safeguard the proper functioning of the compressor, it is
foreseen that
- Once stopped, it will not restart earlier than 3 minutes.
- Once started, it will operate for at least 6 minutes (unless the unit is
switched off)
- Changing the modes during the operation, it may happen that the unit
does not respond immediately. Please wait 3 minutes.
- During the heating function a system of cold currents prevention is
activated. After 2-5 minutes the indoor heat exchanger will start to
make the fan working and the temperature begins to increase.
- Please wait 3 minutes before restarting the unit.

The outdoor unit always operates in the mode of the first indoor unit
turned on. If a subsequent indoor unit is set in a way that interferes with
the first one, the unit that has caused the interference will be automa-
tically turned off.
