the sensor will see in the process. Determine the inferred measurement

measurement and the relationship between the inferred measurement
and sensor measurement is square root, set the XD_SCALE to represent
the operating range that the sensor will see in the process. Determine the

100% points and set these for the OUT_SCALE.

4.11.2 Factory supplied AI blocks
The Rosemount 5900C is supplied with six pre-configured AI blocks according to Table
4-6 . The block configuration can be changed if needed.

4.11.3 Modes
The AI Function Block supports three modes of operation as defined by the MODE_BLK
parameter:
Manual (Man) The block output (OUT) may be set manually.
Automatic
(Auto) OUT reflects the analog input measurement or the simulated value
when simulation is enabled.
Out of Service
(O/S) The block is not processed. FIELD_VAL and PV are not updated and
the OUT status is set to Bad: Out of Service. The BLOCK_ERR
parameter shows Out of Service. In this mode, you can make
