3. Screw the adjustable cap screws until the lever
makes light contact with the stem connector.
4. Tighten the back nut on both of the cap screws to
lock the screws in place.
5. Check the actual position of the stem by stroking
the valve with the appropriate air signal to the
actuator.
The standard accuracy for the travel stop position is
"
10% for 20mm of travel. For added precision,
fine-tuning can be accomplished as follows:
1. Follow steps 1 through 5, as listed above.
Measure the difference between the actual stem
position and the desired position.
2. Loosen the back nuts and adjust the cap screws
so the valve stem can move.
3. Adjust the air signal to the actuator and stroke the
stem to the desired position.
4. Reset the travel stop by adjusting the cap screws
and moving the lever into contact with the stem
connector. Tighten the back nut on both cap screws.
