IMPORTANT HINTS
Do not clean the scales with water and do not immerse them in water.
If this capacity is exceeded, the symbol “
O-Ld
” appears in the display.
These scales are designed for household use and are not suitable for medical or commercial applications;
they are not officially calibrated.
Batteries
Insert or replace the battery (CR2032), open the battery compartment located underneath the unit. When
inserting the battery, always observe the correct polarity.
The symbol “
Lo
” appears if the battery needs replacing.
During extend periods of non-use, always remove the battery from the battery compartment.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the scale.
OPERATION
Put the scale on a firm and level surface.
Weigh recipe ingredients, place a suitable bowl or container on the platform. Solid ingredients may be put
directly onto the scales.
Touch the key “ON/OFF/TARE” and the display will show “
18:888
”. Wait until display shows “0”.
Touch the key “UNIT” to switch the unit between “g”/ “oz” / ”lb” / “kg”.
Always make sure to position any accessories (bowl etc.) on the platform before the scale is switched on.
To add more ingredients without first emptying the container, the “ON/OFF/TARE” key may be pressed
again. In this way, only the additional weight is displayed.
After use, touch the key “ON/OFF/TARE” for 3 seconds to switch off the scale or it will automatically power
off after approximately 2 minutes.
Note: if the appliance is placed unevenly, an incorrect weight or symbol “
UnSE
” will be shown on the LCD
display. Place the appliance on a horizontal and even surface. Touch the key “ON/OFF/TARE” and wait until
the display is set at “0” still.
CLEANING AND CARE
The housing and platform may be wiped with a soft dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Do not use any abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or aggressive solvents for cleaning.
