Installation
2 people are needed to install the unit.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from sharp metal housing!
The inner metal of the casing can have sharp edges.
Wear suitable protective gloves.
Fitting and levelling:
1) Version with connection box: Mark ceiling fixing points from the connection box.
2) Use an appropriate tool to fix the ceiling bracket (by others) to the ceiling.
3) Secure the connection box to prevent it from falling. Secure both sides of the bracket
with locking nuts.
4) Level the connection box horizontally.
5) Affix the sealing strip supplied to the connection box.
6) Connect the supply/exhaust air line by others.
7) DRS version (round): Screw on front plate.
8) DIA version (square): Screw on front plate.
9) Version with transition section: Bend lugs around the transition section and use an ap-
propriate method to fix it to the ceiling.
10) Screw on the front plate (shown with the DRS).
11) Connect the supply/exhaust air line by others.

Pre-commissioning checks
Check before initial commissioning whether all necessary conditions have been met so that the
unit can function safely and properly.
Structural tests
Check that the unit is securely standing and fixed.
Check that the unit is levelled.
Check whether all components are properly fitted.
Check whether all dirt, such as packaging or site dirt, has been removed.
Air-side checks
Check whether there is unimpeded flow at the air inlet and outlet.

Maintenance
6.1
Clean the inside of the unit
The diffusers conform to the Hygiene Directive VDI 6022. They are largely maintenance-free.
Check all elements that come into contact with air (internal surfaces of the unit, outlet elements
etc.) for dirt or deposits during maintenance and use a commercially available product to re-
move.
