2. Pull down on the ejector handle.
CAUTION
The handle rotates only to a certain angle. Do not rotate the handle beyond that
position to avoid damage to the handle.

Be careful the SP has no stop and will easily fall out if pulled too far.

Do not carry the SP module by the ejector handle.
Using the ejector handle, pull the SP module out and remove it from the chassis to
access the DIMMs. Make sure you have enough space to pull the DIMM drawer out of
the chassis.
CAUTION
Data Domain systems are heavy. Always use two people or a mechanical lift to move
a system. The chassis displays warning signs.
The DIMM memory risers are located in the Storage Processor (SP) module which is
accessed from the front of the system. As viewed from the front of the SP module, the
risers are numbered 0-7, with memory riser 7 being on the left.
