The nas Commands
-rename
<old_name> <new_name>
Renames the current storage system name to a new name. By default,
the storage system name is its’ serial number.
-acl
<acl_value> <name>
Sets an access control level value that defines the owner of the storage
system, or the level of access allowed for users and groups defined in
the access control level table (see
). In the access control level
table, users and groups are assigned a specific access control level
that becomes significant when an object is assigned a value. If an
owner is specified, the index entry number displayed in the table is
the ID of the owner.
Note: root
or owner privileges are required to create, modify, or delete the
access control level entries.
-delete
{ <name> | id=<storage_id> }
Deletes an entry from the storage system table. The storage system
can only be deleted after all disks on the storage system have been
deleted using
. The storage system and disks can be
rediscovered using the
command.
-sync
{-all | <name> | id=<storage_id>}
Synchronizes the Control Station's view with that of the storage
system.
-check
{-all | <name> | id=<storage_id>}
Performs a health check on the backend storage to verify if it is
configured for, and in a state to provide the level of high availability
that is required.
Use this option after making any management changes to your
backend system (for example, changes to CLARiiON array
properties, such as enabling/disabling statistics polling).
For CLARiiON Storage
Systems Only
-failback
{<name> | id=<storage_id>}
Returns the storage systems normal operating state by returning
ownership of all disk volumes to their default storage processor.
To verify that the storage system failed over, enter the -info option. If
the value appears as
failed_over=True
, then the system is failed
over.
