6. Calibration
6.1. system record calibration
System record calibration is performed at the beginning and at the end of every study. Under the
control of the
Sandman Elite
software, the amplifier generates a standard 50
μ
V square-wave signal
for calibration. This calibration is important for verifying filter and gain settings and for setting
reference levels in a data record.
