CHECKS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
After putting the plug in the
power socket and pressing
the “ON/STAND-BY” control,
the indicator and the display
do not come on.
Is the plug properly in the power outlet?
Are the switch, power outlet or power cable damaged? Has
the fuse blown?
The “ON/STAND-BY”
indicator comes on and the
display works normally, but
the hotplate does not heat.
Is the pot/pan of the right material?
Has the appliance been preset for a certain function?
If the cause is other than above, have the appliance repai-
red by the retailer or an authorised workshop.
Heating stops suddenly
during operation.
Is oil temperature too high for frying?
Is the ambient temperature very high?
Are the inlets and/or outlets for ventilating the induction
hotplate blocked?
Has the maximum heating time expired?
If the induction hotplate’s safety switch has tripped, wait
several minutes and restart the induction hotplate.
