•  For a start, please clean all the removable accessory parts in warm water with some dishwashing detergent. 
•  Prior to initial use, please heat up for about 15 minutes at maximum temperature (230 °C), in order to burn
    in the protective coating on the heating elements. 
  Please do not be bothered by the slight, harmless smoke and smell that will appear for a short  

  while. While doing so, make sure that the room is well-aerated.
•  After the appliance has cooled down, clean the oven chamber with a moist cloth. 
•  Please ensure that the appliance and accessories are dry before operating the appliance.

Prior to initial use

•  Overheated fats and oils can infl ame. Therefore, food containing fats and oils 

    may only be prepared under supervision!

•  Attention! Hazard of fi re! Always put food from which grease may drip on the 

    roasting tray to avoid that the fat infl ames at the heating element. 

    Bread toasted too long can also infl ame! 

•  Only use heat-resistant containers made of metal, fi reproof glass, ceramic or 

    silicone material for roasting and baking! 

•  Never splash cold water on the hot oven door!

•  When opening the oven door, hot steam may escape!

•  Appliance and accessories must have cooled completely before cleaning or 

    moving them!

•  Do not use the appliance as a room heater.

•  Observe the following when setting up the appliance:

      o Place the appliance with its rear to the wall. Leave a ventilation distance of 4 cm.

      o Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even surface (no varnished 

         surfaces, no tablecloths etc.).

      o Place it beyond children’s reach.

      o Leave a ventilation distance of at least 4 cm to all sides and 1 m above the 

         appliance to avoid damage by heat or fat splatters and to grant an 

         unobstructed work area. Ensure an unobstructed air circulation. 

      o Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of sources of heat (oven, gas 

         fl ame etc.) or in explosive environments, where infl ammable liquids or 

         gases are located. 

     o  Attention! Hazard of fi re! This appliance is not qualifi ed for installation. 

•  Pull the power plug after each use for safe switch-off.

  getting hot during use and fi rstly stay hot after switch-off!

 

•  Prior to operation, ensure that the hinged crumb tray is properly  

 

  fi xed!

 

•  When inserting the food, make sure it does neither touch the upper  

 

  nor the lower heating rod!
