ECOLOG-NET
2.9 Power over Ethernet (PoE; Part-No 2370-A)
ECOLOG-NET LAN (LP4, LH2) dataloggers may be equipped with an optional PoE module. With this
option the datalogger does not need any external power supply unit anymore. For the operation with a
switch that supports the PoE standard, the following points have to be taken into consideration:
- The datalogger supports
IEEE 802.3 af
but without supporting the phantom supply possibility
- The proper functioning of the PoE module is shown by a green LED on the pcb (inside of the rear wall).
- PoE does not work on a Gigabit-Ethernet LAN
- The following graphic shows the wiring diagram of the RJ45 connector according to
IEEE 802.3 af
with
Spare-Pairs. The color schema complies with
T568B
