What function does USB Type-A to Type-C
support?
The cable in box supports
USB 2.0 and doesn’t support video/audio/power.

Why does the monitor not power on when
connected it to a laptop via USB type-C to type-
C cable
Please make sure you use power adapter for a laptop since some laptops cannot support
PD (Power Delivery: 15V/20V) function without power adapter.
It takes long time to boot or wake up the monitor
Check out “Video Priority” setting to the video port you are using.
