8.4. Automatic compensation of the air pressure influence
The concentration of oxygen saturated in water determined in mg/l
depends directly on the atmospheric pressure value, which means that
10% pressure change causes also 10% oxygen saturation change. The
meter enables automatic compensation thanks to build-in atmospheric
pressure sensor. This influence is automatically counted during
measurements in mg/l.
There is possibility of reading the atmospheric pressure value:
-
in the oxygen measuring mode press the button till a
(pressure) sign appeares in the lower row of the LCD (Pic. 9);
- in the upper row there is the value of atmospheric pressure in hPa
displayed;

- enter the oxygen measuring mode by pressing the button.
During the oxygen measurement in % of saturation the atmospheric
pressure has no influence on the result.
