Avoid: covering the unit, damp or high humidity locations, placing the unit in direct
sunlight. Install in a well ventilated position.

NSTRUCTIONS
Connect a dc power supply (not supplied) to the UPS12-4400 input ensuring the
voltage is within the unit’s specified range and it is capable of providing sufficient
load current for the output.
The input voltage being applied should be indicated on the device by the LED
status indicators: 5V, 7.5V, 9V or 12V. Simultaneously the LINE indicator will be
illuminated when the input supply is present as well as the CHARG indicator which
flashes when the battery is being charged or is steady if fully charged.
Ensure the LINE indicator is steady and not flashing; if LINE indicator is flashing
press SWITCH for
5 seconds
to return it to a steady state to enable the device to
function in its normal operating mode.
To switch the UPS On or Off manually, press SWITCH for
2 seconds
and release.
If the voltage output/indication does not automatically correspond with the input
voltage, set the output as follows:
1.
Remove input supply – BATT indicator will illuminate
2.
Press SWITCH twice in quick succession to cycle through output voltage
options
3.
Reconnect input supply when correct input/output voltage is displayed
