1. Introduction
The LAN Cable Tester is an easy and effective cable tester with the ability to test all
wiring faults of 10Base2 (Coax), 10BaseT, 100BaseTx,356A, TIA-568A TIA-568B cables,
etc. It not only identifies wiring faults, such as open pairs, shorted pairs, reversed pairs,
crossed pairs and split pairs, but also tests up to 8 different cables at one end.
Two large alphanumeric LED displays the fault status while 8 smaller analogue LED
indicate which pair is being tested. The provided remote identifiers mark remote testing
of up to 8 stations very convenient. Simply push the “TEST” button and the LAN Cable
Tester will automatically run all tests within a few seconds and display any existing faults.
It is simple to use and it provides practical results.
