Keep Working
• Use blade bits when drilling large holes in wood.
• Use HSS bits (reinforced stainless steel) when drilling in metal.
• Use drills for masonry when drilling soft masonry.
• Use lubricant when drilling different metals other than cast iron, aluminum, copper and brass.
• Start slowly to drill the hole, allowing the bit to penetrate enough to avoid slipping
when reaching higher speeds.
• Never try to start a stuck drill by turning it on and off alternately with the switch of trigger. This can damage the
tool.
• To reduce clogging, always keep the drill running while pulling the bit to remove it from a finished hole.
DRIVING THE SCREW
• Always use the correct type and size of the screwdriver bit.
• If the screws are difficult to tighten, try applying a small amount of liquid or washing soap as a lubricant.
• Always hold the tool and screwdriver bit in a straight line with the screw.
