SECURITY RULES FOR DRILLS / WIRELESS SCREWDRIVERS
CAUTION
Always wear safety glasses or eye shields when using this tool. Use a dust mask or a respirator for cases
where dust is generated.
Do not take the tool or put your hands too close to the sleeve or bit when they are rotating, as they could lace-
rate your hands or cause injury.
Secure the material you are drilling. Never hold it in your hand or hold it between your legs. Unstable support
can cause loss of control and injury.
Position yourself so that it avoids being caught between the tool or the side of the handle and the walls or
posts. If the hub or bit is bent or jammed during work, the reaction torque of the tool could strike your hand or
leg hard.
Make sure all types of keys have been removed from the Cordless Drill before turning the tool switch to the
on position. The keys can jump high speed, hitting you or one of the spectators.
When using the cordless drill, always hold it with both hands to avoid losing control.
Hold the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation in which the tool may come
into contact with hidden wires. Contact with an active wire will cause exposed metal parts of the tool to make
contact and cause a shock to the operator.
Keep the handle of the Cordless Drill dry, clean, free of oil and grease. Do not operate the cordless drill while
carrying it to your side. If the bushing or drill bit is spinning they could become entangled with your clothes
causing personal injury.
CAUTION
Disconnect the plug or battery pack from the tool and place the switch in the locked or off position before
performing any assembly, setting, changing accessories, performing any inspection, maintenance or clea-
ning procedure. These preventive measures reduce the risk of the machine starting accidentally.
Do not use the Cordless Drill if it has been damaged, has been exposed to rain, snow or wet or damp environ-
ments, or if it has been immersed in liquid.
Keep labels and identification plates on the Cordless Drill. These contain important information. If there is any
that is missing or illegible, contact Authorized Service to return it.
