EMC (ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY) Information
The Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive sets the essential requirements for electrical and
electronic equipment that may disturb or even be disturbed by other equipment. The EDC-2600 complies
with these requirements as tabled below. Follow the guidance on the tables for use of the
device in the electromagnetic environment.

communications
Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as
antenna cables and external antennas) should be used no closer than
30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the EDC-2600, including cables
specified by the US OPhthalmic.
Otherwise, degradation of the performance of this equipment could
result.”
Cables and accessories
Use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified
or provided by US OPhthalmic of EDC-2600 could result in increased
electromagnetic emissions or decreased electromagnetic immunity of
this equipment and result in improper
operation.”
