Cleaning and Care
Before cleaning your slow cooker, always ensure
that the temperature control dial is in the OFF
position and the unit is disconnected from the
power outlet.
Always ensure the unit is unplugged from the
power outlet when not in use.
Always allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
Remove the crock pot and glass lid and wash
them in hot, soapy water, using a mild household
detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly. To soften
stubborn, cooked on foods, fill the crock pot
with warm, soapy water and allow it to soak.
Once the cooked-on residues have softened,
lightly scrub the pot with a nylon kitchen brush to
remove them.
The crock pot and glass lid can also be placed in
the dishwasher; however, care should be taken
to ensure they do not chip or crack during the
washing cycle.
IMPORTANT!
Allow the unit to dry fully after cleaning before
using it again.
Do not use the appliance if damp. Ensure the
appliance is completely clean and dry before
storing.
