IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LOG ARRANGEMENTS Vesuvius 140:

Ensure that a number of holes in the grate and the Pilot area are free of embers.

Finally check the pilot is clear, no embers have entered the Pilot area and the cross 

lighting is good before the glass is replaced.

The Vesuvius 140 does have a second thermo element. 

Also this area should be clear of any ceramic materials

Make sure that the second thermocouple is nicely 

positioned into the flames.
