Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing reception problems after installing this booster, please check the
troubleshooting guide below:
1.
No Picture
This indicates no signal is reaching your television. Ensure all equipment is properly
connected and all connectors have been attached correctly.
2.
Snowy picture
This indicates a weak signal. A masthead aerial booster may be required in addition to
improve the signal quality. Ensure all equipment is properly connected and all connectors
have been attached correctly. For details of your local reception, check online. In addition,
please check your aerial is positioned correctly as this can affect signal.
3.
Herringbone pattern
‘Herringboning’ indicates the signal is too strong. A signal attenuator (not supplied) may be
required to fix the problem.
4.
Problems with satellite/digital television reception
If you are experiencing problems with your satellite TV picture, please ensure all connectors and
cables are attached correctly. The fault could be down to dish alignment or temporary channel
transmission issues. Please contact your satellite provider if the problem persists.
SERVICE WARRANTY
Electrovision guarantees the product free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year.
Should this unit be operated under conditions other than those recommended, at voltages other than the voltage indicated on the
unit, or any attempts made to service or modify the unit, then the warranty will be rendered void.
The product you buy may sometimes differ slightly from illustrations. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your
statutory rights.
