the plug from the power outlet by grasping

7.  Press the switch on/off pedal with your hand to  
 

start the vacuum cleaner.

8.   Adjust the suction by using the slide controller  
 

on the vacuum cleaner or by opening / closing  

 

the slide valve on the hose bent end.

GETTING THE BEST RESULTS

Hard Floors:

 Use the dual purpose floor nozzle with 

the pedal as shown.

Carpets: 

Use the dual purpose floor nozzle with the  

pedal as shown. Reduce suction power for 
rugs and fabrics.

Loose rugs/curtains/light weight fabrics:

 

Reduce the suction power. Use the Floor nozzle 
for loose rugs and the Small Combination nozzle ( 
Z1560, Z1570 ) and the Crevice nozzle ( two in one 
with brush ) for curtains, cushions etc.

BEFORE STARTING

1.  Open the dust bag compartment cover.

2.  Check that the dust bag is in place. and close  
 

the dust bag compartmentcover.

3.  Insert the hose until the catch clicks to engage.
 

Press the catch to disengage for removal.

4.  ( Z1570 ) Attach the Telescopic tube to the hose  
 

bent end and to the Floor nozzle.  Adjust for  

 

the height required by pushing the slide button  

 

on the upper tube, to extend pull out the lower  

 

tube section.

5.  ( Z1550, Z1560 ) Join the tube set together and  
 

attach with a twisting action to the Floor nozzle

     and hose bent end.

6.  Before using the vacuum cleaner extend out  
 

a sufficient length of cable by extending the  

Confined areas :

Use the Crevice nozzle ( two in one 

with brush ) for crevices and radiators. Use the Small 
Combination nozzle ( Z1560, Z1570 ) and the Crevice 
nozzle (two in one with brush ) for removal of dust 
coverage on furniture and slatted blinds

REPLACING THE DUST BAG

Replace the dust bag as soon as the indicator 
becomes fully illuminated, when the cleaner is 
operating at maximum power and the nozzle is 
raised from the floor.

1.  Remove the hose and open the dust bag cover.

2.  Prior to the removal of the paper bag insert  
 

the cardboard tab on the bag plate into the bag  

 

opening, minimising the spilling of the bag  

 

contents.  Holding the cardboard bag plate, lift  

 

out the dust bag from the bag holder.

3.  Fit a new dust bag by inserting the cardboard  
 

bag plate into the seating to the fullest extent 

 

in the holder.

4.  Position, and adjust the bottom corners and  
 

the upper part of the dust bag into the dust bag  

 

compartment and close the cover. Incorrect  

 

fitting may cause for the dust compartment  

 

cover not to close.

REPLACING THE TEXTILE DUST BAG

1.   Remove the hose and open the dust bag
      compartment cover.

2.   Holding the bag plate, remove the dust bag
      from the holder.

3.   Slide the clip away from the bag to open
 

and empty.

4.   Replace the plastic clip ensuring that both
      sides of the bag are parallel. Replace the
      bag into the holder.

5.   Close the dust compartment cover by
      pressing down until it clicks.

Note: The bag may be washed in luke  warm water and 
dried completely. It should not be washed in a 
washing machine.
