Depending on the preferred installation/ducting mode,
follow step 6a or 6b below.
6a.   Recirculating mode (Fig. E). Using the centre line,

secure the recirculating T-piece(optional kit AR610RK)
to the wall with suitable srews/fixings through the
slots of upper flue cover mounting bracket. Install
flexible pipe between T-piece and transition duct.
Using cable ties or suitable duct tape to secure flxible
pipe to T-piece, transition duct and air outlet(Fig.G).

NOTE: When installed in recirculating mode, it is
recommended to use a carbon  lter (included in
recirculation kit AR610RK) to prevent odours being
emitted back into the room.

6b.  Ducted mode (Fig F.) The rangehood can be

conducted with a non-combustible

centre line to the ceiling. Fit preferred flue pipe to
the air outlet use cable ties or suitable duct tape to
secure flexible pipe to air outlet.

NOTE: For ducted mode, we recommend extending

e pipe through the roof to external “china hat” to vent

exhaust externally. We do not recommend venting into
ceiling cavity.

NOTE: To ensure optimum performance of the
rangehood, the use of rigid ducting is recommended.
The use of bends should be avoided. Rigid  exible
ducting is suitable, although loose  exible ducting is
unacceptable. All ducting must be  re retardant.

Electrical connection

Check that the installation complies with the standards
of local building, gas and electrical authorities. Before
connecting to the mains supply ensure that the mains
voltage corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate
inside the rangehood.
