Place the food in the pan.

To switch on
set temperature control to the temperature you want and
turn heating control to the right level, depending on the
quantity and type of food you are cooking. This appliance
has the following heat settings:
= no heat
1 - 3 = low heat (simmer / braise)
4 - 6 = medium heat (braise / slow-cook)
7 - 8 = high heat (boil)
= maximum heat (rigorous boil)

To switch off
turn temperature control and heating control to position
NOTE!
Choose a lower level to switch the pan heater off
and on again. This saves energy without affecting
cooking results.

Roasting
To roast dishes, set temperature control to the temperature
you want to roast at.
To keep the pan temperature at constant as possible for
roasting, choose a high heat setting (6 -

Boiling and braising
To heat liquids, turn temperature control to the right temper-
ature and choose the intensity of heat flow with heat control.
• Level 1 - 3: simmer / poach
• Level 4- 6: braise / slow-cook

Handrail (optional)
For correct assembly/disassembly of the handrail, refer to the
dedicated installation instructions.
CAUTION
If the handrail is present, do not place on it
more than 25 kg per meter of structure.

Introduction

Before carrying out any cleaning,
switch off the machine from the
electrical power.
WARNING
• Only start cleaning once the
appliance has cooled.
• Do not clean the appliance
with flammable liquids.
CAUTION
Do not spray the appliance or its parts with
a high-pressure cleaner or a steam
cleaner; this may cause it to malfunction.

Cleaning the appliance and accessories
Before using the appliance, clean all the internal parts and
accessories with lukewarm water and neutral soap or products
that are over 90% biodegradable (in order to reduce the
emission of pollutants into the environment), then rinse and dry
thoroughly.
CAUTION
Do not use solvent-based detergents (e.g.
trichloro-ethylene) or abrasive powders
for cleaning.
